In games in French with Jeanne, Bina and Erre, I learned that the sun is white and a little bit of history behind Thai’s famous dish: Pad Thai!
Sur la plage, ils tombent nez à nez avec une tortue géante. Ils s’approchent doucement et ils voient qu’elle est emmêlée dans un filet de pêche… Content de l’avoir délivrée, ils rentrent chez eux avec un bon karma!
Le subjonctif, c’est facile.
La mission de Luda et Divya, si elles l’acceptent, est de faire une video de 30 secondes sur le subjonctif.
Should they chose to accept it, I will share their videos in the privacy of the community of our French Conversers. (Please don’t reshare unless you have their authorization to do so, thank you for your understanding!)
This tape will self-destruct in 5 seconds………………………………..
Good luck and you don’t need luck.
Tonight, we studied a lot about les crepes bretonnes with Bina!
– Une pâte à crêpe réussie !
– le Culottage des poêles
– les crêpes à la crème de marrons
Welcome to our new comer from Espalion dans l’Aveyron: Katie!
Today, we made a desert competition. Have you heard of Eton mess, the English desert?
100% in French!
Homework: write a recipe in French and document it with pictures or even a short video!
Welcome to Erre, our new comer tonight. With Erre and Bina, we reviewed once again le partitif.
On fait souvent l’erreur = it’s a very common mistake
le partitif:
Je bois de l’eau => partitif
Je bois beaucoup d’eau. (DE > d’)
J’ai des amis.
J’ai beaucoup d’amis!
If you have any doubt, even a 1% doubt, then it’s that I didn’t do my job! This will be hesitation-less from now on!
Your homework, if you accept it, is to use le partitif in 3 sentences and ship it prior to our next session! 100% in French!Good luck and you don’t need luck!
Welcome to Brady our new comer!

Je bois du thé mais je dois boire beaucoup d’eau.

J’aime les pommes de terre. Je mange beaucoup de pomme de terre.
Tonight, with Bina, we studied methods to best tell a story.
1- appâter le public avec un accroche = a bait in introduction
2- Donner un contexte – donner des détails et jouer sur la communication corporelle = reveal details, create ups and downs of tension relief
3- créer de la tension
4- tu révèles / tu libères la tension

Have a look at a French Comedian’s one man show (tip: in setting, make it 0.75X slow because he is too fast even for native).
Look at how much non verbal communication makes his show!
Homework:
Prepare a story using the best practices and rehearse until next Monday!
You need to never translate it into English when it comes to Grammar! Translation is an art that has nothing to do with learning a language’s grammar rules.
To learn Grammar, rely on a infallible grammar method. Add immersion, and you’ll be on your way to the moon! (in terms of progress)
Today’s homework for Jeanne and Luda is to send us 2 sentences for each expression:
